Got an idea?
What is the real need? Who are the stakeholders? Who is the end user? Who does it benefit? Will it capture value? What are the metrics to measure change?
Start there.
Got a great team?
While we will consider all teams on an ongoing basis, we encourage teams to include individuals with the following roles:
Problem Sponsor
(Physician, Nurse)
Experts who have identified a pain point and/or intervention on the wards. They are potential end-users of the solution, and future clinical champions of the product.
Supervisor
(Resident, Engineering instructor)
Mentors who will advise project teams on a weekly basis. They are skilled in IT, data analytics, and/or coding. They will be a resource as-needed to help shape the team's progress and development.
Designer
(Medical student, Design student)
Individuals who have first-hand experience in the problems and end-users of a potential product. They have the language to communicate the needs and workflow of the clinical user.
Developer
(Engineering student)
Individuals who are able to build web apps and have established experience with coding, and who have the desire to learn more. This project will fulfill credit through the Joint Engineering/Medicine Ventures Class.
Still building a team? Resources to find who you need.

Fill out your name and email so we can set up a meeting with you to begin the conversation. Mention what role -- Problem sponsor, Supervisor, Designer, or Developer -- most fits your background or interests, if you have something in mind. Or let us know if you're just looking to join a team.
For the most promising teams, we will grant access to the program's toolkit, including space on an internal server and the clinical data API.
We look forward to hearing from you!
